This is a less-common black-body version of the industry-standard SMD 3528 RGB LED. While most 3528 RGB LEDs use a white reflective package, this part features a dark/black molded body with water-clear epoxy lens, making it ideal when a low-visibility footprint is required - for example on black FR4 boards, behind smoked/acrylic lenses, or in architectural accent lighting where the unlit LED should "disappear."
