Everlight, a major LED packaging manufacturer, has benefited from the continued strong demand for optocouplers, sensing components, and infrared packaging this year, as well as the price increase of some products. After the first quarter, revenue increased by 29.88% annually, setting a new high in the recent 10 quarters. The off-season is not short, and revenue in the second quarter is expected to remain high-end.

In order to meet market demand, Everlight is expanding its production capacity for invisible light, such as optocouplers. It is expected that new production capacity will be completed from the end of the second quarter to the beginning of the third quarter. By then, the production capacity of invisible light is expected to increase by about 30%. Operations will increase momentum in the second half of the year.

At present, invisible light products account for about 35% of revenue, backlight products account for about 19%, lighting products account for about 9%, and consumer products and mobile phone products account for about 34%. Among them, the proportion of invisible light products' revenue has continued to rise in recent years.

Mainly from Netcom, home appliances, Internet of Things devices, wearable devices and other applications continue to drive the demand for components such as optocouplers. Everlight is currently the world's top two invisible light packaging manufacturers (including optocouplers, infrared, light sensing components, etc.). The market expects that Everlight's earnings per share in the first quarter may be around 1 yuan (New Taiwan dollar), and it will also have the strength to maintain a high-end in the second quarter.
